I went on an Alpaca trek with my 84 year old mum today. It was fantastic. The staff were so helpful, from pairing us up with the perfect Alpaca to helping my mum on a couple of tricky hills. It was a perfect day. Thank you so much Portland Alpacas. Would totally recommend going.
Lovely walk with gorgeous alpacas! Fell in love with Sheldon and all the other alpacas. Felt very looked after by the team and lots of photo opportunities! Would definitely recommend to any animal lovers of all ages.
My family and I had the most wonderful time walking the Alpacas overlooking the beautiful views. Karen and Shaun were super friendly and everything was organised perfectly, especially in these Covid times, with stops for photos and interesting information about the Alpacas and Portland. The Alpacas were so friendly and cuddly and it was truly a unique experience for the adults as much as for the children. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting and would come again next time we are in Dorset. Thank you to all the team who made it such a lovely experience.
My wife convinced me to go and take a small fluffy animal for a walk around Portland and I have to say it was awesome.
I took Crumble and my wife had Ziggy. We were in a group of about 8. You can share the walking and have one between two or in our case one each.
Loved it.
We then went for afternoon tea at the Heights. Expectations were average as it was only £10 each. Well I was wrong it was really good.
Do them both, you won’t be disappointed.
